I have a great commitment to personal growth. It is very meaningful to me and it’s how I found myself and my interests such as writing, journaling, painting, walking, hiking, and more. It all involves me taking care of myself, not only physically but also mentally and internally. Whether it's in the way I act, the way I think, the way I eat, or just the way I put myself together and present myself. I strive to ensure I have a mindset that's focused on doing things for myself in order to better myself. This journey has taught me the importance of surrounding myself with greater opportunities and just being open to everything. It's not about what happens to me or what is given to me. Instead, it’s how one reacts to an opportunity, more so about what someone does about what can be done.

ROLE MODEL: Wave to Earth

Wave to Earth, a Korean band, has really influenced and inspired a lot of my recent work. I listen to their music a lot, and I love how they make everything so smooth and relaxing. It’s almost like this warm feeling that just calms me down. The melody and rhythm of all the instruments are what get me every time. I want to be able to also give that feeling in my writing. Just like how their lyrics are written in such a beautiful way and a lot of their songs really express what I believe could be seen as true, honest love, I want to be able to express things very similarly. In a way where people can see the integrity I put into everything daily.
